Answers to the questions we hear most from lifters, lean bulkers, and beginners. Email us if you don’t find it — we usually reply within 24 hours.
Tell it your goal (bulk / lean bulk / cut / recomp), split preference (P/P/L / full body / upper-lower / bro split), days per week, available equipment, and experience level. The AI builds a real progressive-overload program with sets, reps, and rest periods.
Yes. Tap any exercise to swap it for an equivalent that hits the same muscle pattern. Pro users can build a fully custom program from scratch and save it for reuse.
Starting Strength, 5/3/1, Stronglifts 5x5, classic PPL, Upper/Lower hybrid, and full-body splits. Free users pick one preset; Pro generates custom or modifies.
When you log a lift that beats your best for a given exercise — 1RM, 3RM, 5RM, or volume PR — the app surfaces it on the home dashboard and adds it to your achievements feed.
Tap the mic button. Speak naturally — “two scoops whey, peanut butter banana, oatmeal”. Apple’s on-device transcription handles the audio; the resulting text is parsed for macros and saved to your day.
Audio never leaves your device. Transcription is on-device. Only the transcribed text is sent to the AI inference service to parse macros — and that transcript is discarded after the call. See the Privacy Policy for the full data flow.
For common foods it’s within 10-20%. For ambiguous meals (mixed plate, unusual portion) you can edit the parsed result before saving. Photo logging is a fast log, not a lab analysis.
Yes — Pro feature. Point the camera, it pulls the product label and lets you log a scoop count. Works for most major US supplement brands.
A 0-100 score combining PDCAAS / DIAAS (complete amino profile) with leucine content. Whey isolate scores ~98 (elite). Plant blends typically score lower unless properly stacked.
About 2.5-3g of leucine per protein serving is the threshold for maximally stimulating muscle protein synthesis in most adults. The app surfaces this on every protein source so you know if a meal hits it.
Body weight, sex, age, activity level, and your selected phase (bulk / lean bulk / cut / recomp) drive the math. Bulk = caloric surplus of 200-500 kcal. Lean bulk = +100-300. Cut = -300 to -500. Protein scales with body weight (typically 0.8-1.2g/lb).
Yes — Pro feature. On training days the macro split skews higher carbs (especially around your session). Off days shift toward fat and protein. The targets update as your weekly schedule loads.
AI workout plan generation, voice + photo + barcode food log, protein source intelligence (quality scoring), unlimited lift history with PR alerts, and custom program builder.
